WHAT YOU STOP GUESSING ABOUT

The full engine turns training problems into decided answers.

Know what to lift next

Sets your next load and rep target from your logged sets, so you stop asking “when do I add weight?”

The problem it removes: guessing the jump, then under or overshooting.

70 lb × 10RIR 275 lb × 8-10
Back off before you stall

Reduces training demand when recovery lags behind performance, so a hard week does not turn into a stalled one.

Deload at the right time

Plans lighter weeks from accumulated fatigue, not the calendar.

Your log becomes decisions

Turns your logged training into the next prescription, not just a record.

Hypertrophy training without programming every detail

Runs connected training blocks for you. Each program carries your data forward, so progression, recovery, and deloads stay continuous across blocks.

HOW ONE SET BECOMES YOUR NEXT

You log a set. The engine reads it. Your next session changes.

You log weight, reps, and your after each set. Calyber reads that to set your next session, and to decide when to .

TRACKER VS CALYBER

A tracker records what happened. Calyber decides what happens next.

A workout tracker
Records what happened.
  • Logs your sets
  • Shows your history
  • Leaves the programming to you
  • Useful for manual tracking
Calyber full engine
Uses what happened to set what comes next.
  • Sets your weights and reps
  • Adjusts training demand when recovery lags
  • Plans your deload weeks
  • Carries your data across training blocks
Newer lifter

You do not need to know how to program progression. Calyber tells you what to do next.

Intermediate lifter

Stop guessing when to add load, repeat a session, or reduce demand.

Advanced lifter

Prescriptions adjust from performance, RIR, recovery, and block context, with the reasoning shown.

RECOVERY PROTOCOL

Recovery is part of the prescription.

Pushing harder is not always the right move. Calyber watches recovery and fatigue signals so a hard week does not quietly turn into a stalled block. When recovery lags, the engine can:

  • Hold the loadRepeat instead of adding weight when performance flattens.
  • Reduce the volumeTrim sets when fatigue starts outpacing progress.
  • Schedule a deloadPlan a lighter week from accumulated fatigue, not the calendar.

PRICING RATIONALE

Why Calyber costs $19/month.

You are not paying for tutorials, motivational copy, a social feed, or another place to store sets. You are paying for the engine that turns your logged training into decisions:

  • What weight to use next
  • What rep target to chase
  • When to repeat instead of increase
  • When recovery should reduce demand
  • When a deload should happen
  • How your next block continues from the last one

Calyber is not built for everything.

Calyber is not a social feed, a video library, a coach messaging platform, or a motivation app. It is built for lifters who are willing to log their training and want their weights, reps, recovery, and deloads decided from that data. After your trial, your past sessions stay visible in a read-only account; logging new workouts needs a subscription.

FAQ

Common questions.

For newer lifters

What is adaptive hypertrophy training?

Training for muscle growth where the plan adjusts to your results. Your weights, reps, volume, and deloads update from your logged performance and recovery, instead of following a fixed template.

Do I need to know how to program training?

No. Calyber handles the prescription logic: volume, progression, and deload timing. You log the work; it updates the next prescription.

Will it tell me exactly what to lift?

Yes. Every session opens with the prescription: the exercise, the target weight, and the rep range, set from your last logged sets.

Comparing your options

How is this different from a workout tracker?

A tracker records what you did. Calyber uses what you did to set what comes next: your weights, your reps, when to ease off, and when to deload (take a planned lighter week).

I already use a spreadsheet or another app. Why switch?

The 28-day trial covers logging and manual entry while you evaluate the engine. After that, logging new workouts needs a subscription, while your past sessions and e1RM trend stay visible in a read-only account.

Will it change my workouts at random?

No. Every change is tied to your logged performance, your recovery, and where you are in the training block. You can read the reasoning on the algorithm and decisions pages.

Is there an iPhone app?

Calyber runs in the browser and installs as an app (PWA) on iOS, iPad, and Android, plus desktop. There is no separate App Store download yet.

For advanced lifters

Is Calyber built for advanced lifters?

Yes. Prescriptions adjust from your performance, RIR, e1RM trend, volume landmarks, and recovery, and you can inspect the reasoning behind any change on the algorithm and decisions pages.

Does it adjust training based on recovery?

Yes. Recovery and fatigue signals can hold the load, reduce volume, or schedule a deload. The full logic is on the Recovery Protocol page.

Does it plan deloads?

Yes. Lighter weeks are planned from accumulated fatigue, not just the calendar, so a deload happens for a measurable reason.

Billing and access

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The 28-day full-engine trial starts with no card. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid tier.

Is Calyber free?

The full engine is free for 28 days, no card. After that, an active subscription keeps logging and prescriptions running. If you do not subscribe, your past sessions and e1RM trend stay visible free in a read-only account.

What does the read-only account include?

After the trial, your past sessions, full history, and e1RM trend stay visible. Logging new workouts, the adaptive engine, recovery protocol, and deload prescription require Founding Member or Standard.

Can I cancel any time?

Cancel from the billing portal at any time. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund after subscribing?

After your first paid charge, you have 7 days to request a good-faith refund if the paid product does not match reasonable expectations from the trial, if there is a billing error, or if sustained service unavailability prevents use. A refund ends the subscription and your account returns to read-only access.

What does 'price locked' mean for Founding Member?

The Founding Member rate ($19/month or $199/year) is locked for the lifetime of the subscription. Future price changes do not apply to active Founding Member accounts.

What happens after the trial ends?

If you added payment details and chose a paid tier, it begins on day 29. If you did not, nothing is charged: your account moves to read-only, where your past sessions and e1RM trend stay visible. Logging new workouts then requires a subscription.
